We did a quick stop on our drive home from Kissimmee Praire Reserve- and it turned out to be the best idea. On one stretch of the bike ride around 15 big alligators were sunbathing- and jumped into the water when they heard us approaching- felt like a wall of dominos falling.

2019 vs 2022
The first trip to Colombia vs the most recent trip post covid lockdown.

Looking at the last picture you would never know that had been through:
—Emergency eye surgery, I have a scleral buckle in my right eye now
—Covid Pandemic as a small business owner
—Survived George Floyd Riots during covid and had my salon boarded up for over a year
—Sold everything I owned and moved out of my 2 bed 2 bath apartment
—Moved to Miami knowing no one
—Started two new career paths
—Gifted my salon to someone else (I still return every 2 months for clients)
—Went through several mental breakdowns to the point I never thought I could feel normal again and a few other health scares
—Somehow made my way through all of that and found a supportive partner who lets me be me and a 2x a day meditation practice that keeps me grounded and calm.

If I can make it, you can make it.
