Originally listed at $950,000.00, we kept an eye on this listing as the listing agent dropped the price to $849,000.00. That was the time for us to see the property and do a thorough walkthrough.
With a solid prequalified lender letter we prepared our offer at $725,000.00. The seller came back at $750,000.00 and we signed.
After the inspection results came in we negotiated a $9,000.00 credit.
Then it was time for the appraisal, as a buyer agent, when we ARE NOT in a red hot seller market, I have the negotiating power to check the appraisal contingency box on the contract.
