Born in Washington, D.C. to Lebanese parents, Farouk Gongee moved to Miami with his family when he was 10 years old. After receiving a college education from Miami Dade College, Farouk spent his early 20′s traveling the world, journeying through all the major cities in Europe, the Middle East and India. Between the ages of 25 and 28, Farouk was involved in the natural food business, owning and ope
rating 5 natural fast food cafes and restaurants, while also serving as a consultant in the industry. In 1979, at the age of 28, he returned to Miami, and thus began his prolific career in Real Estate. For more than 30 years now, Farouk has been working in the Real Estate industry, specializing in waterfront properties in the Miami Beach area. He counts several heads of state as well as many well-known personalities in the music and entertainment industries as his clients, and has worked with respected developers Gerry Sanchez and Tony Goldman in the revitalization of South Beach. Highlights of his distinguished career include opening the Commercial Division of Wimbish Realty in South Beach, serving as Director on the North Beach Development Corporation, serving as a commissioner on the Miami Beach Affordable Housing Committee, and receiving the award for Best Renovation Price on the Beach. In 2007, Farouk joined Keller Williams, the number one Real Estate Company in the United States today. He continues to remain focused on luxury homes and waterfront properties in Bay Point and Miami Beach. Having raised his children in the safe and family-friendly Bay Point and witnessed the rebirth of Miami Beach and Ocean Drive firsthand, he has a special love and passion for the area, a genuine zeal for Real Estate and a sincere desire to help his clients. In his spare time, Farouk enjoys meditation, self-discovery and spending time with his family.
