Congrats to my AMAZING buyers for officially closing on their dream home today 💯

So 3 years ago I rented a home to another one of my clients with the intentions of him saving more money in order to purchase the same home in 2-3 years which is when the seller needed to sell (Capital Gains Tax) But fast forward to 2020, the pandemic hits. And what was once a reality for him, all quickly became impossible to purchase due to increased covid restrictions on the type of loan he needed. ☹️

But guess what happened next?? 😱

I just so happened to already be working with a couple who were looking for the same exact type of property as the one he was in! 🤯

So I was able to quickly show them this home completely off market, and put this deal together for them to finally close on the home of their dreams! Now THATS the way 😏

P.s don’t worry - I was also able to help find my previous client another rental home and currently getting him ready to purchase his first home next year as well 💪

What does YOUR realtor stand for? 🤔

And just like that, not only was this another apartment rented, but 40 more trees are now going to be planted in Uganda as part of an initiative that will connect forests for wildlife, establish tree nurseries and much more! 🐒

This is an incredibly special wildlife habitat and corridor restoration partnership with and the Jane Goodall Institute. 🌳

The objective is to restore and conserve nature for biodiversity while also supporting local communities. The trees will be planted in the Albertina Rift forests of Uganda, close to where Dr. Jane Goodall began her extraordinary career and fell in love with Chimpanzees - our closest wildlife relatives. The trees being planted here will go towards planting 3 millions trees as part of a broad long-term and large-scale initiative that will connect forests for wildlife, establish tree nurseries, strengthen forests monitoring and law enforcement to prevent future deforestation, promote agroforestry practices that integrate trees into farming systems, and much much more!! 🌳

If you’ve got a few open weekends and a can-do spirit, you can knock out these cost-efficient upgrades in no time.⁣

• Paint the walls and trim. Smudgy walls and dingy trim are out. Refresh both with calming, neutral colors that appeal to a wide range of tastes and preferences. If time is short, start with the living room and kitchen and then work your way to the bedrooms.⁣
• Refresh the yard. Fresh mulch, colorful annuals, and a couple of planting urns for the entryway make stellar curb appeal a cinch.⁣
• Clean, declutter, and repeat. There is nothing worse than a listing that’s dirty. Deep clean and declutter before your home hits the market. Later, when it’s time for a showing, it’ll just take a quick wipe-down to straighten up. ⁣

There have been a lot of recent announcements of mortgage payments automatically waived or deferred amidst the coronavirus crisis. So contact your mortgage company directly and confirm! If you’re unable to make your next mortgage payment contact them to make some sort of arrangements, don’t assume that you’re upcoming payments are going to automatically be deferred!
