Staying informed is part of being a REALTOR®—and being able to better serve our clients, homeowners, and communities starts with understanding the issues that impact them. 🏡

On July 31st, I had the opportunity to attend the Miami REALTORS® + RWorld Roundtable on Property Taxes and Florida Constitutional Amendment 3 at Miami REALTORS® Headquarters.

This was an important conversation about a proposal that could have a significant impact on Florida homeowners and property owners. We discussed what Amendment 3 would actually change, including increasing the homestead exemption and reducing the annual assessment cap for certain non-homestead properties, and what those changes could mean for Floridians.

Florida REALTORS® has announced its support for Amendment 3 and is encouraging Florida voters to learn more about the proposal and vote YES this November. 🗳️

As REALTORS®, our role in advocacy goes far beyond buying and selling real estate. It means staying educated, understanding legislation and proposed amendments, and making sure we can have informed conversations with the people and communities we serve.

Knowledge matters. Advocacy matters. Homeownership matters. 🇺🇸🏡

Be informed. Know what’s on the ballot. And make your voice heard this November.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001. A day we will never forget.

As a mom, a Realtor, and a proud member of our South Florida community, days like today remind me how precious life, family, and the people around us truly are.

We remember the innocent lives taken far too soon. We remember the families who lost loved ones and whose lives were changed forever. And we honor the brave first responders, firefighters, police officers, military members, and everyday heroes who showed unimaginable courage and selflessness.

More than two decades later, their stories still matter. Their lives still matter. And their memory will always matter.

Today, I’m taking a moment to remember, to be grateful for the people I love, and to appreciate the freedom and community we are blessed to have.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸❤️

🏡 You’ve probably seen the headlines… but what do they really mean for South Florida buyers and sellers?

📈 “Inventory is rising.”
📉 “The market is slowing.”
🏠 “Home prices are changing.”

But here’s the truth: headlines don’t tell the whole story.

A rise in inventory doesn’t automatically mean home values are dropping. In many South Florida neighborhoods, it simply means buyers have more choices and a healthier, more balanced market.

At the same time, well-priced, well-presented homes are still attracting strong interest and selling.

That’s why I always remind my clients: Real estate is local. Every city, neighborhood, and price point tells a different story.

Before making a buying or selling decision based on a headline, let’s look at what’s happening in your market and create a strategy that works for your goals.
