Hope you and your families are doing well. 🙌🏼
So many lessons have enlightened us during this COVID-19 saga!
Let’s start with how your family requires time, positive energy and lots of groceries 😜 yet they give you the highest level of personal satisfaction. Those memories together are priceless and each of us will do everything in our power to preserve their fulfillment.
Expect the unexpected is another lesson. You can’t predict this level of unemployment or time away from your career. Many have lost their businesses, some furloughed & many struggling with their personal identities. There’s hope my friends 🙏🏼! Believe me something Great will come out of all this madness. I’m praying and rooting for you to succeed.
Be flexible and adapt to change. Try to find ways to generate multiple income streams so if one tanks you have the other to fall back on. That answer might be a side hustle, investing in assets, stocks, etc. Passive income sets the tone for time wealth. Find the balance in life to do what you love with those you love most!!!
Moving on to the next one, budgeting. This really is the financial foundation to all of our homes. Living paycheck to paycheck with no reserves sets you up for failure. Like our parents use to say, “You need to set money aside for a rainy day!” Talk money with your spouse weekly and make sure you’re both on the same page as to the direction the ship is sailing.
Lastly, your credit and how you pay back creditors is how you can take advantage of times like these. The FEDs keep lowering interest rates and only a few will partake in buying & refinancing. These beautiful rates continue to work in our favor. Time to jump on them if you have the opportunity!
