It is important to understand what eliminating property taxes in Florida would mean for homeowners and for our entire community.

If this passes, Florida will immediately become one of the most desirable places to live in the country. Think about saving ten to fifteen thousand dollars a year on your property. That is money that stays in your pocket. Once your mortgage is paid off, you would truly own your home outright. No more sending checks to Uncle Sam just to keep what is already yours.

At that point, you would have the freedom to choose whether you want insurance. If it becomes too expensive, that is your decision. The key is that your home would belong to you completely and no one could take it away.

If this becomes reality, real estate in South Florida will rise quickly. Property values will climb until the market finds its balance. A good friend once told me something I never forgot: “Nothing is worth anything until an offer is made.” That is exactly how markets work and they always correct themselves.

In the end, Florida would become the first and only state in the nation where homeowners do not pay property taxes. It would position Florida as a leader once again by taking bold and forward thinking action.

Big milestones at Curby Corp Homes! ✅ We just wrapped up Cutler Bay and got our maintenance bond back, always a good feeling after a year of hard work.

Next stop: Palmetto Bay.

We’re finalizing plans, working with the city, and getting ready to bring some of the largest and most luxurious homes in the area to life — one-acre lots, over 6,000 sq. ft. each.

Exciting things ahead. The vision keeps growing. 🌴🏡

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable evening at our home, a private fundraising event organized by my wife, Sandra Curbelo in support of Dance Now! Miami, an inspiring non-profit dedicated to promoting arts education and contemporary dance.

The night was filled with incredible live performances, great music, fine wine, a few prime ci**rs, and a time of genuine community and creativity, all for a meaningful cause.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating art, culture, and giving back to the Miami community we love.
