Toastmasters Is Coming to The HUB! This is our Membership Drive! #2

Aug 26 | 7 PM to 9 PM

Join us at The HUB for a special event to launch our Biscayne Toastmasters chapter to our members and the local community.

During this interactive session, we will host a mini Toastmasters meeting so attendees can experience firsthand what a Toastmasters meeting is like, learn more about the organization, and discover how participation can help strengthen communication, public speaking, leadership, confidence, and professional development skills.

We believe Toastmasters can be a valuable addition to The HUB community and beyond by creating an ongoing opportunity for entrepreneurs, professionals, students, community leaders, and anyone looking to become a stronger and more confident communicator.

We are also beginning the process of forming a Toastmasters club at The HUB and are looking for members of our community who may be interested in taking on leadership roles and helping us build and grow this new chapter.

Good morning, Miami! ☀️

Town Hall meetings like this truly make a difference.

The HUB was honored to host the Miami Downtown Development Authority’s Town Hall and budget review for the Arts & Entertainment District.

Commissioner Ralph “Rafael” Rosado and Michaeljohn Green, Chief of Economic Development and Strategy at the Miami DDA, led a meaningful discussion on the agency’s budget, district progress, and future priorities.

Community members attended to ask questions, share concerns, and express appreciation for ongoing improvements in Downtown Miami.

The Miami DDA’s impact is clear, though there is always room to listen, improve, and do better.

I was grateful to host, participate, and share recommendations directly with the agency. This event marked an important step toward greater transparency, dialogue, and community engagement.

These conversations build trust, strengthen relationships, and support a more connected and sustainable Miami.

Miami is our city, and depends on our civic participation. We must show up, speak up, listen, and engage in the process.

Thank you to Commissioner Rosado, Michaeljohn Green, the Miami DDA, and all who attended and contributed.

Let’s keep building the relationships and doing the work needed to shape the Miami we all want to see. 🌴🤝🏽
