When you were little and I was still finding my way as a mother, I thought perhaps it was just me who saw how special you were. But time and again, strangers and friends alike would affirm it: God had entrusted me with an extraordinary soul.

Today, I thank our Heavenly Father and our Blessed Mother for the gift of YOU. Your deep faith, your life of gratitude, and the way you guide your children in the light of God’s love fills my heart with awe.

Twenty-four years ago today, on 9/11, the entire nation stood still. And then stood together. In those heartbreaking hours, there were no Republicans or Democrats, no red or blue, no divisions. We were Americans. United in grief. United in resilience. United in the belief that together we could endure the unthinkable.

Today, I feel the horror of watching us fall into the trap of blame. Pointing fingers at Charlie Kirk’s messages, or at those who oppose him, or at anyone who dares to speak from an extreme position. The real danger isn’t in one man’s words or the counter-argumen. They are only symptoms. The true danger is forgetting who we are at our core: one nation, indivisible.

Maybe Charlie’s real superpower, whether he knew it or not, could be to remind us, by the very intensity of division his words spark, that we must choose differently. That we must remember the unity we once felt. That we must reclaim the power of coming together, of standing side by side, no matter our differences.

Because when we are in that state, when we are at our truest and strongest version of togetherness, that is when America is at her greatest.
