Miami 305k completed in 32:10. Pace 10:23 min/mile.

I came into this race with a 10:45 min/mile goal thinking it was going to be a hard goal to meet. I started taking my running seriously in November of last year to prepare for my upcoming Hyrox competition. I even found just to get people to run with and not run alone 😅. With the push of friends and community I was able to improve from a 12:18 min/mile in November to a 10:23 min/mile. Not only did I meet my goal, I fricken crushed it.

5 weeks until Hyrox Miami Beach. 😬

Today we did a hyrox simulation at and .training ! Very impressed with how Lydia and I did. We were able to see where we need improvements. My personal take away is: work on burpee broad jumps and run the “rox zone”. As far as designated weight for women open doubles, it feels great. Back to the lab we go. 11 weeks out 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
