For the first time since 2023, more Americans say they would rather BUY than RENT.

That’s a significant shift in consumer confidence and it tells us something important about today’s market.

For the past couple of years, many buyers have been waiting for the “perfect moment.”

✔️ Lower interest rates.
✔️ More economic certainty.
✔️ Better affordability.

But here’s the reality:

The “perfect time” may not arrive the way many people expect.

More buyers are realizing that putting their lives on hold while waiting for dramatically lower rates or a major market correction could end up costing them more than acting strategically today.

History has shown that when interest rates begin to decline:
📈 More buyers re-enter the market.
📈 Competition increases.
📈 Multiple offers become more common.
📈 Home prices often begin climbing again.

Waiting doesn’t always mean paying less, it can simply mean competing against more buyers for the same home.

Today’s market offers opportunities that many people overlook:
🏡 More inventory.
🤝 Greater negotiating power.
💰 Seller concessions.
📍 More choices than we’ve seen in quite some time.

Every buyer’s situation is different, which is why the best decision isn’t based on headlines, it’s based on your goals, your finances, and your timeline.

That’s where having the right guidance matters.

My team and I are passionate about helping buyers understand the market, separate fact from fiction, and build a strategy that works for their unique situation, not someone else’s.

Everyone keeps asking the same question:

❓“Should I wait for rates to drop before buying?”

Here’s some perspective that often gets lost online 👇

📉 In the 1980s, people were buying homes with rates around 12%
📉 In 2020, rates dropped into the 3% range
📉 Today, rates are sitting around the mid-6% range
📉 In 2025, the average rate was around 6.6%

So yes, rates today are actually slightly lower than they were recently.

But here’s the part many buyers overlook:

People think waiting is the “safe” move.
The logic sounds simple:

👉 Wait for rates to fall
👉 Jump in later
👉 Get a cheaper payment

But what usually happens when rates fall?

More buyers re-enter the market.
Demand increases.
Competition intensifies.
And home prices often start climbing again.

So while you might secure a lower interest rate later… you could also end up:
❌ Paying more for the property
❌ Competing in multiple-offer situations
❌ Losing negotiation leverage

Right now, this market is simply different.

In many areas we’re seeing:
✔ More inventory
✔ Less buyer competition
✔ More negotiating power
✔ Seller concessions returning
✔ Unique opportunities that didn’t exist during the frenzy market

This isn’t about telling anyone to buy or wait.

It’s about understanding that real estate is more nuanced than the headlines and social media fear posts make it seem.

Every market cycle creates different opportunities and the best decisions usually come from strategy, not emotion.

That’s why my team and I focus on helping our clients understand the full picture:
📊 Market trends
📍 Neighborhood-specific opportunities
💰 Financing strategies
🏡 Long-term wealth building potential

🚨 REAL ESTATE UPDATE: What Zillow just revealed about the 2026 housing market

No headlines. No hype. Just strategy.

📊 According to Zillow, we’re looking at:
➡️ Modest home price growth
➡️ Gradually improving affordability
➡️ Stronger sales conditions ahead

Translation? 👇
This is NOT a crash. NOT a boom.

This is a transition market.
And in markets like this
👉 The average buyer hesitates
👉 The average seller waits
👉 But the informed client wins

💡 Here’s what most people are missing:
When affordability improves slowly, it creates opportunity windows, not chaos.

That means:
✔️ Buyers gain negotiating power
✔️ Sellers still hold value (if positioned correctly)
✔️ Investors find deals others overlook

📍 Especially here in South Florida real estate — Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura — where demand, migration, and inventory all move differently than the national average.

This is where strategy > speculation.

🎯 If you’re thinking about:
• Buying your first home
• Selling in today’s market
• Investing in South Florida properties

You don’t need noise,
You need clarity, timing, and ex*****on.
