The long-awaited transportation service that will connect Orlando Florida with Miami Dade County and Broward will begin operating very soon. We are referring to the Brightline Train, whose station at the Orlando International airport in that city has already been inaugurated, and next month they will start the special sale of tickets at a reduced price. Unaffordable homeowners insurance premiums are out of control in Florida, preventing new buyers from having the opportunity to own their own home and those who already have them from being able to renew high policies and landlords from billing the increments to tenants..... that is impacting the Real Estate industry unfavorably for Floridians. This is an invitation to my colleagues who have not yet made their voices known to local authorities to check their emails for this message and take action now. Together we can alleviate the Florida Insurance Crisis.

The Federal Reserve of the United States (FED) announced today the increase in the interest rate by at least 0.25% or 0.5%; As a measure to reduce inflation.
Today's homebuyers are racing against the clock to qualify for their home loans before it's too late.
The announcement is a severe setback for the pockets of consumers who were still hoping to get their own home at low interest rates.
With the arrival of the pandemic, the FEDS had reduced interest to almost zero.
The announcement anticipates that the gradual increase will reach 1.87% by the end of the year. Which means you still have time to finance your property and take advantage of low interest rates.

Miami Association of Realtors worked with Senator Rene Garcia and Commissioner Rebeca Sosa to sponsor an ordinance that would create a centralized database for home owner associations containing, contact information for board members and management companies, governing documents, annual approved budgets, reserves etc.

This is a great initiative because when we are in the process of obtaining the documents from community associations during a real estate transactions, sometimes is very frustrating for all parties involved in the transaction. 😠

La pregunta del millón ahora mismo respecto al mercado inmobiliario de Estados Unidos y centrándonos básicamente en Miami es..... caerán los precios de las propiedades este año? 😮
Observando el inventario, vemos que el 2019 finalizó muy diverso.... en algunos sectores los precios de las propiedades tuvieron un pequeño aumento, en otros se estabilizaron y en ciudades como Brickell, South Beach y Doral es muy común que los compradores se estén aventajando con descuentos desde un 5 o 7% del valor real.
