Canned pasta
Juice (64 oz bottles)
Teas
Instant or partially cooked rice and pasta dishes
Dish soap

✨ First Fridays Are Back in Middlebury! ✨

As we step into January, Kelly and I have been reflecting on what makes Middlebury Middlebury — and it always comes back to our small, owner-run businesses and restaurants and the people behind them. Especially in the quieter winter months, showing up for one another matters more than ever. Over the past few weeks, many of you reached out with the same question:

“Can we bring back First Fridays?” So we listened — and we’re excited to say First Fridays are returning, starting small and growing together 🤍

FIRST-FIRST Friday OF 2026, February 6!

A handful of enthusiastic businesses will stay open later together, creating more reasons to gather downtown. Participating spots include (and are growing!):

PhotoPlace Gallery, Vermont’s Own, Middleton, Flora, Haymaker, Tinker & Smithy, The Marquis, Crooked Ladle, Sabai Sabai, Taste of India, American Flatbread, The Middlebury Inn, Jessica’s at the Swifthouse, Retro Realm & more. 👉 Want to join? Please DM or email us!

Our goal is simple:

A town known once again for sipping + shopping, grabbing something delicious, and running into neighbors and friends downtown. A place people come not just to buy — but to connect.

💚 February = Love, Local Style 💚

We’re also launching a Love Middlebury campaign all month long, featuring a Hidden Heart Treasure Hunt 💕

How it works:

❤️ Pick up an entry form from participating stores ( available towards the end of January). Find hidden Middlebury hearts at participating businesses

❤️ Collect at least 15 hearts

❤️ Spend $10 or more at a Middlebury business

❤️ Turn in your card by the end of February

🎉 The Prize:

One lucky participant AND one lucky local business will each win $100 in Middlebury Money. It’s simple. It’s joyful. And it’s all about supporting one another. Support local. Support Middlebury. Look after each other.

Let’s make this winter a little brighter — together ✨
