Tomorrow marks the closing of a home that holds decades of memories.
After losing her husband, this sweet homeowner made the difficult decision to sell a home that had become too much to maintain on her own. Today, as we sat together before closing, she shared stories that reminded me why this business is about so much more than houses.
She pointed to a tree in the yard that her husband gave her for their 5th wedding anniversary. She told me about the pergola where they would sit together each morning with a cup of coffee, enjoying the simple moments that became a lifetime of memories.
Not every real estate transaction is glamorous. Some are emotional. Some are challenging. But every single one is meaningful because it impacts someone’s life in a very real way.
My role went beyond simply selling a home. I was honored to guide her through the entire process—from securing an off-market buyer within our network, to helping coordinate smoke detector installations, to ensuring she could leave behind items she wasn’t physically able to remove herself.
