Hay mañanas que uno recuerda por lo que hizo.
Y hay mañanas que uno recuerda porque te cambian para siempre.

El 11 de septiembre de 2001 llegué a trabajar pensando que sería un día normal. Minutos después, estaba presenciando algo que ninguno de nosotros podía comprender por completo.

Recuerdo los rumores.
Recuerdo subir al piso 52.
Recuerdo ver aquel avión acercándose.
Recuerdo el silencio.
Recuerdo caminar sin saber realmente qué vendría después.

Veinticinco años después, todavía hay imágenes, sonidos y momentos que siguen conmigo.

No comparto esto para hacer ese día sobre mí. Lo comparto para recordar a quienes perdieron la vida, a sus familias, a los primeros respondedores y a todos los que cargaron con el peso de ese día de una forma u otra.

Hay cosas que el tiempo suaviza.
Hay otras que simplemente aprendemos a llevar.

Nunca olvidaré esa mañana.
Nunca olvidaremos. 🇺🇸
