Custom Enclosures for Midtown Retrofit
Tecspec met a unique challenge presented in the refitting of 660 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan. Led by Brookfield Properties, this LEED Gold project is overhauling the interior of the building and retrofitting the exterior cladding of the 39 story building with a glass façade. The project faced significant and demanding mechanical system requirements, as well as a premium level of aesthetics. Using their extensive custom manufacturing abilities, Tecspec designed and produced a tailored fin tube enclosure to meet all of the requirements. This adaptive manufacturing ability demonstrates Tecspec’s ability to solve unique challenges.

SRS Enterprises and Dunham-Bush teamed up to supply New York City’s new Hard Rock Hotel with heating and cooling equipment.

The 36-story, 291,000 square-foot tower in Times Square features Dunham-Bush Water-cooled packaged heat pumps. The soon-to-be-completed, 442-foot-tall project is designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Extell and Hard Rock International. AECOM Tishman is the general contractor.
