OH BOY! I see many of you have very passionate feelings about this.
That being said, I certainly respect your opinion, and you have a right to voice it. However, regardless of how you feel, it does not give anyone the right to use profanity, be mean to myself nor my client.

On a lighter note, last time we checked, we still live in a wonderfully free country where property rights go both ways! Anyone has the right to choose where they want to live, and landowners have the right to list and sell their property when they choose to do so.

I think it is worth remembering that nearly every home we all live in today was likely a farm or open land at some point in history. And if you have ever bought or sold a home yourself, you likely appreciated having the right to build equity and benefit from your investment when it was time to move on.

We have also seen a few comments wondering about potential commercial development like a Walmart or Wawa, or suggesting that the land should strictly remain for farming. Before judging, it might be worth asking: Do you shop at those stores when you need groceries or fuel?

To put things in perspective with a few quick facts:
• In the United States, about 29% of all food produced each year goes uneaten or wasted, amounting to roughly 60 to 70 million tons.
• If a family of 4 wants to grow all of their own fresh fruits and vegetables for an entire year, a well-managed garden only requires about 1/10 to 1/4 of an acre. And most likely would be a very clean, non wasteful way. To put that in perspective, they is less that the amount of land that most townhomes sit on.
