June 9, 2008 — God gave us the most precious baby boy, and somehow here we are celebrating your 18th birthday. Someone please slow time down for us because we truly cannot believe how quickly the years have flown by! I AM IN COMPLETE DENIAL that you are 18 years old, graduated high school and rocked it, and are headed to college in the Fall. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t thank God for you.

Harrison, we love you more than words could ever express, and we are beyond proud of the young man you have become. Watching you grow from our sweet little boy with blond shaggy hair into a high school graduate and now officially an adult has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. Harrison was the OG of this hair style from early on- you will see it in the pics- cutest boy ever.

You certainly keep us on our toes, especially being the only boy in a house full of sisters 😂, but one day you are going to realize just how special it is to have a house full of girls who love you endlessly. You may drive us nuts jumping up and touching the tops of doors/ceilings/ etc, always asking for food bc you never fill up, or having to be begged a million times to make your bed etc- but we all still adore you. Through all the chaos, you have always been such a sweet, loving, kind-hearted boy with the BEST hugs in town. We can never get enough of your hugs, your sweet smile, and the way you make everyone around you laugh. When Lexi went off to college- Harrison hugged me daily as tears ran down my face and would remind me she would be home soon. This week he asked me- who is going to hug you like that mom when I am gone and I lost it!!!! This new transition is going to be so hard but you are ready. We are so thankful for your heart and the faith you have for the Lord. Always continue to put God at the center of your life and allow Him to lead your path. Dream big, believe in yourself, work hard, and never forget how deeply loved you are. God has HUGE plans for your life, and we cannot wait to watch it all unfold.
