She believes that the most important things a real estate professional can provide their clients are valuable advice, strong negotiation skills and exceptional customer service. Outside of the office, DeAnne enjoys staying active through running, jet skiing and playing volleyball. DeAnne Fite is the third generation of Fites to enter the family’s real estate business, which was started by her grandfather, Judge Fite, in 1937. “This was completely a choice that I made. It was not an expectation whatsoever. I come from a very good family that wants everyone to go after their own dreams and I think that is very important," DeAnne said. Fite was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She earned her bachelor’s degrees from the University of North Texas in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. “I wanted to learn all aspects of business. That’s why I chose entrepreneurship because it teaches a little bit of everything," she said. “Instead of just focusing on one course or one aspect of business, you really get a full understanding of all of it." Her education did not end with college. She continues to attend classes, reads, and studies that art of Real Estate. Fite said she enjoys being involved in the community. She is very active with Easter Seals, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and The American Cancer Society. She said that the desire to help others contributed to her decision to go into real estate. DeAnne also worked in the property management division of the company for four years and has extensive training working with investors. “A lot of people look at coming into the family business as a disadvantage – I look at it as an advantage," DeAnne said. “My family teaches us to show up and work hard!"
DeAnne Fite is a born sales person and is fortunate to have such great mentors as her father, mother, and grandparents. “I think this is the best thing I can do with the abilities I have been given," Fite said. “I have to work hard, but I enjoy working, and I love what I do!" For the future, she wants to stay with the family business and continue her grandfather’s legacy. Visit http://fitesellshomes.com/ for more information.
