Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there showing up with love, patience, and maybe a few corny jokes along the way (guilty as charged). Whether you're grilling, napping in your favorite chair, or just trying to find five minutes of quiet—we see you, and we salute you.

Today, I’m especially thankful for the example set by my own dad, and grateful for the chance to be “Dad” myself. It's the toughest job I’ll ever love (and possibly the only one where “because I said so” is a valid argument).
