Today, as we pause to remember 9/11, many of us can still recall exactly where we were when we heard the news. We remember how everything seemed to stop, how we checked on our families, called friends, and held our loved ones a little closer. Twenty-five years later, those memories remain vivid, and the impact of that day continues to be felt by so many.
We remember those who lost their lives, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families who have carried unimaginable loss for the last twenty-five years. We also remember the way people came together in the days that followed, putting aside differences to support one another and their communities.
As we reflect today, may we carry forward that same spirit of kindness, service, gratitude, and neighborly care. In a world that often moves too fast, 9/11 reminds us of what matters most: the people we love, the communities we build, and the responsibility we have to look out for one another.
Today, we remember. We honor. And we never forget.
