Family,
Finally getting a chance to upload the receipts of taxes for 2022. Currently we owe $1,567.65, which will need to be paid before 9/1/2023. If you would like to contribute for the 2022 taxes, please let us me know.
For 2022, the total taxes are $5,067.69 which divided by the 10 sons and daughters would come out to $506 per represented son and daughter.
The majority of money already paid has been paid by representatives for Tomasa, Willie Quinto and Gloria. Any money paid over the balance will go towards next years taxes.
I will post the latest bank statement as soon as I can.

This is a bet late, I enjoyed myself seeing family I have not seen in a while. I look forward to seeing more of my family in the future. It saddens me to see the house and barn come down so many memories, but looking forward to making new ones.

Thank you everyone that was able to make it this past weekend. I think we had an outstanding showing for it being so last minute. We will plan another get together again soon and will try and get the word out to everyone as soon as possible.

As far as what we discussed and what we have been able to accomplish…
We discussed the taxes and how much they have gone up over the years. Short story is they were just over $5,000 for 2022.
So, if you would like to help with those, I will add the account # for the property so you can directly send to the tax office or you can send to the Rockdale Credit Union where we have an account set up for Julia Rubio Estate. I will add that account # soon also.

We (Tio Quinto and myself) started at the beginning of August cleaning up and trying to figure a way to get all of the brush and overgrown trees cleaned up. Then around Aug. 7 we talked to Juan Rubio, our gracious cousin, and he made it real easy for us to make a lot of progress. He was able to get some of his heavy equipment delivered and between his son Junior and some of his workers, we were able to get a lot of the area cleaned up where the house used to be. I posted some pics of what we have done, but unfortunately I was not able to get a whole lot of pics of what it looked like before we started.

The whole reason that we started this is to try and have a place that the FAMILY can come and visit and just relax. We Shared a lot of stories this last weekend from everyone and it was HOT!

Long term plans are to have a covered area so that we can stay cool and dry for future visits. We would love to try and restock the tanks for fishing, and have the area cleaned up enough for kiddos to run around without any worries.

I will Update more soon but I did want to get this out as soon as possible.

Please share with all of our uncles, aunts and cousins so that everyone can join.

Also feel free to share phone #’s to all that are not shown so that I can include them in future texts also.

Rubio Family,

Enclosed you will find the Milam County tax statement for the land in Milano, known as the Julia Rubio Estate.

Taxes have significantly risen in the past years and we want to be able to keep this land in the family.

We want to give you the opportunity to contribute to paying the taxes to be able to do this.

We have opened a bank account here in Rockdale if you can contribute. You can also send it directly to Quinto or me.
