Starting August 3, most established condo projects with 10+ units will require a full project review for conventional financing.

What does that mean?
• More documentation
• More review of the condo association’s finances
• More scrutiny of budgets, reserves, insurance, inspections, and special assessments

This isn’t a new rule from your lender or underwriter. These are updated Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements that lenders are required to follow.
