This was news to me! Wow! One more reason of many to be a home owner! Not to mention, the influx of jobs and people will continue to have a positive effect on property values :)

The median rent and utilities in Seattle at the start of the decade ranked outside the top 10 among big U.S. cities. Now the Emerald City is the most expensive place to rent outside of California.

Well it appears that the Market has leveled off price wise and some areas have seen a slight price decline, That doesn't mean there still aren't bidding wars, but it does make it more buyer friendly then the sellers market we have seen the last several years. Rates are still great and we are coming into the hottest part of the year.
