Disclosure is paramount in any real estate transaction, I applaud this new rule. New HOA Balcony Inspection Rules (SB-326) ~ If you’re buying or living in a condo, HOAs must now share their Exterior Elevated Elements (EEE) inspection reports — covering balconies, decks, walkways, and exterior stairs.

Each report must list:
Inspection date - Total units + units with EEEs - Number of EEEs inspected - Any safety issues - and -Inspector certification. HOAs must keep these reports for 18 years. This applies to buildings with 3+ attached units.
