This past weekend’s Homestead Valley Music Festival was such a great reminder of what makes this community so special. It was wonderful to see neighbors coming together, catch up with so many familiar faces, and enjoy a day filled with music, conversation, and connection.

A special thank you to Pezzolo & Co. for helping make my booth feel so welcoming with the furniture and accessories, and other local supporters, including Practice Water (a startup water company) for being part of the day as well.

Route of the Month: Marin Headlands Loop 🚴‍♂️
This month’s route is one of my go-to rides when I want a little bit of everything: flat roads, challenging climbs, fast descents, and some of the best views in Marin.

Starting from the Mill Valley Multi-Use Path, the route heads north toward Sausalito before climbing into the Marin Headlands. Along the way, you’ll pass the Sausalito houseboats, ride through the Headlands, climb above Rodeo Beach, and get some incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco, especially when the fog starts to clear.

The details:
• Starts and ends in Mill Valley
• Just over 17 miles
• Around 1,400 ft of climbing
• Mix of flat roads, climbs, and descents
• Road ride
• Great for hill training and scenic views

You can also easily extend or shorten the route depending on how you’re feeling. But if you’re looking for a great basic Headlands loop, this is a good one to put on your list.
