Hey neighbors and beach lovers! Want to hang out tomorrow?

From Marin County Surfrider:
Normally we head to the beach for cleanups, but it’s important to remember that our inland waterways are critical to our overall coastal health. So, this time we’re organizing a cleanup at the Bothin Marsh Preserve along the Mill Valley/Sausalito path on Sunday, August 30.

We will meet at The Cabin on Tennesse Valley Road for parking, check-in, and cleanup materials. From there it’s a short walk to the Mill Valley/Sausalito path and the Bothin Marsh Preserve.

Return to The Cabin by Noon to help us tally the trash we’ve gathered. After 1pm, Surfrider Marin will be tabling outside of Hook Fish Co. at Proof Lab B**r Garden for the final week of our membership drive.

Sausalito! I have a story for you…

It’s not often you get the honor of selling the exact same home twice, let alone three times!
When I got the call to list 168 Cypress Place for some of my absolute favorite clients, I jumped at the opportunity. We have already navigated a couple of purchases and a listing together, but this one is incredibly close to my heart.

Our story actually started right here in Sausalito when both of our kiddos were in pre-school together. Our relationship was deeply personal long before it ever became professional. Over the years, it has been an absolute privilege to support them along their real estate journey.

While I am sad to see them move out of state for their next big adventure, I am so grateful to guide them through this closing chapter here in California. Off Market Gem Score + Little City Farms Neighborhood Highlight 🔑🏡✨

Little City Farms has been a Tam Valley darling for all its history, but the word is getting out. It’s not Sycamore Park, but for those looking for a neighborhood where many kids navigate by bikes to school, neighbors say hello as you stroll down to the park, or where some leave the car and take a bike to happening Tam Junction for music, dinner, or simply getting the groceries, this is the spot! This slow July two sets of my clients competed in multiple offers for two off market properties in this sweet pocket of Mill Valley, within days of showings and before hitting the market these opportunities were gone. Luckily for my buyer who was ready to be aggressive we scored a lovely off market single level home with views, views, views! They’re thrilled! Don’t mind the sound of Renee snuggling some random wet Labrador at the park! Here we’re in the heart of Eastwood Park with a playground, dog park, creek trail, and tennis. Stumbled upon a Friday night neighborhood potluck recently. A gem of a community. Close to Tam Valley school, the happening Junction, trails, and the coast! 🌊

I’d like to take all the credit on this one, but it’s important to note that there is a team behind every transaction and the sellers are part of the party!

When I suggested what we needed to do for timing the sellers said “YES”

When we sat down with designer prep steps to take the property to the next level they did not flinch at the bids, they said “YES”

When we reviewed all the comparable sales, and had other top agents come and help price the property we did not just lean into the highest number. We looked at how other fabulous properties nearby were sitting and selling for under asking. Then we priced where buyers would only talk about the great features of the property, and where we were confident we would get multiple offers and see if there wasn’t a higher price than anyone expected. The sellers yet again said “YES”

Despite the sellers extensive real estate experience, and the emotional weight of the homes intrinsic value to them, they chose to listen to all our advice. We were careful to keep our suggestions to high return on investment (ROI) prep that could be achieved to time the market before the full summer slow down.

They said YES and the market responded. Multiple offers, a quick sale, and a sales price way over anyone’s expectations.

Marin! We have some serious celebrating to do!

Real Trends 2025/2026 is in and I’m beyond thrilled to announce I’m once again honored to be recognized by Wall Street Journal’s
Real Trends Top 1.5% of ALL licensed real estate professionals in the nation! What an honor that my clients choose to work with me and refer me to their family and friends.

Let me not get too far into this announcement without acknowledging a few things. 2025 and 2026 this far has had a long list of challenges for buyers, sellers, and humans! It’s been a little weird, right!? This market and its ups and downs is not for the faint of heart. Things are never as easy as they seem. For instance this picture is a result of my falling in the bay in a windstorm off my paddle board. I was sadly in my usual work to paddle attire, which did not hold up well. I’m soaking wet and wearing a friend’s towel as a skirt. My photographer friend was kind enough to not shoot me straight out of the water, but did create this spoof to make light of how we can fail, dry ourselves off, and make the best of things. That’s what this market is all about. Resiliency and determination!
