Anthony Louis Sorce, 40, passed away on April 17, 2025, in Neptune, New Jersey. Born on December 20, 1984, in Newton, New Jersey, Anthony lived a life marked by dedication to his craft and deep connections with those around him.
Anthony built a respected career as a certified arborist for the State of New Jersey. His work reflected not only technical expertise but also a profound respect for nature and the environment. In addition to his arborist work, he was a talented stone mason—an artisan whose hands shaped enduring structures and whose eye for detail brought beauty to every project he touched.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Louis Sorce and Loriann Rivera; his brother, Dominic Sorce; and his grandmother, Jean Staley. He also leaves behind his aunts Nina Sorce, Ann Prizzi, and Rose Sorce; and godparents Robert Staley and Frank Sorce. Anthony’s memory is cherished by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Salvatore Sorce, Sara Sorce, and Jack Staley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Par-Troy Funeral Home, located at 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054.
