Some days I feel like I’m totally behind on my goals, but I remember when my oldest was playing AAU basketball, and we came out to Corner Canyon High for a game. At the time I was super broke and living with my mom and I remember thinking how cool would it be to send my kids to a school that looks like a castle? I didn’t even own a home yet. Fast forward 5 years from that day and a home I never thought I would live in, in a city I thought I could never afford came into my life and I moved my kids across the valley. There were concerns with the change in demographics. But in most ways, I think this was the best thing I could’ve ever done for my kids, and myself. And to think 10 years ago this was a pipe dream! I may not be where I want to be, but I’m sure a hell of a lot farther than I was!

This week hasn’t been my best and yesterday I messed up my times and drove out to BYU to watch Chrys run, totally missed it by an hour 🤦‍♀️ (I was able to bring him some food at least)

His team broke the state record in the 4x200 his first time back running after his ATV accident.

God is good! Proud of him and his determination ❤️
