Since acquiring Bass Boat House in February 2022, our team has been envisioning the re-development, and we are excited to share the initial concept plan! We will develop the new facilities in phases. We started with new docks on the point and will have covered slips in the cove. New gas pumps will be installed this March, and they will be accessible as soon as you enter the marina.
Next, we will work with the county to relocate a portion of Bass Road to make it more pedestrian friendly, improve traffic flow and safer for our neighbors. Then we will build the new trailer parking and boat ramp facilities in the rear of the project, and start construction on the new boat storage facility similar to our Lake Oconee location.

Once the new marina facilities are open, we will start the demolition of existing facilities and begin re-shaping the point. We will be adding a new marina ship store with boating supplies, apparel, fuel sales, boat rentals, and more. This facility will also have a sit-down restaurant and quick serve food options.
On an adjoining parcel, we plan to build a four-story 90-room boutique lifestyle hotel that will have a water view lobby restaurant and a rooftop bar. We have not decided on a brand at this time, but have started discussions with some great options. The ship store and hotel construction is estimated to start in 2027 with an estimated opening in Summer 2028.
