Did summer pass quickly for you, too? Moms and Dads, as you prepare for start of school, keep in mind that as long as they last, school supplies and child ID safety kits will be available at National Night Out, happening on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Clyde L. Gracey Community Center at 5629 Byrom Street. This is a fun event for kids, as first responders will be on site and kids can check out how very cool a firetruck is and make friends with law enforcement personnel. My friend, Vince Nguyen, of the SRC Health Department at 850-564-2253 is the fantastic organizer who can answer any questions you may have. His commitment to health and wellness for our community is outstanding, and I so appreciate him! See you on Tuesday for this fun event!
