Royal Capital is invigorated to set up our Texas satellite office. The City of Fort Worth has selected us as the master plan developer for the $50 million Evans and Rosedale Urban Village, which will include hundreds of apartments and 27,000 square feet of commercial space.

City officials and members of the Historic Southside Neighborhood Association have chosen us for our strong community engagement. It only makes sense that we now have the opportunity to become neighbors with the community we’re committed to serving.

The project contributes to Royal Capital’s broader vision of investing $1 billion in urban developments across the U.S.

“The Evans & Rosedale properties are part of the Historic Southside – a former hub of Black commerce that has been home to many renowned Black entrepreneurs and prominent Fort Worthians, both past and present. Notable figures include William Madison McDonald, the first Black millionaire in Texas, and modern icon Ms. Opal Lee, the ‘Grandmother of Juneteenth.’”

A fun fact about Fort Worth, TX: it’s the 13th largest city in the U.S. and the fastest-growing city among the top 30 cities nationwide.

This Juneteenth, Royal Capital honors The Residences at ThriveOn’s namesakes, the late Ruth and Roosevelt Wright, former Bronzeville residents.

Kevin Newell, our founder and CEO, reflects on his aunt and uncle, who, during the Great Migration, became vital supporters to Black families in Milwaukee, offering jobs, housing, and resources.

Ruth and Roosevelt Wright’s home was a refuge for many migrating from the South. Their legacy of providing support and fostering economic and social mobility embodies the essence of Juneteenth.

“From renderings to real life impact.”

As a national real estate developer, Royal Capital’s innovative approach transcends traditional building, turning detailed renderings into impactful realities that shape communities across the nation.

Royal Capital developed this four-story 65 unit apartment building above a Milwaukee Public Library.

The library is 17,500 square feet, the apartments have a total of 65 units ranging from 1 – 3 bedrooms.

This project was awarded the 2021 Mayor’s Design Award.
