Food for thought…the word respect comes to mind.
Italy's PM Giorgia Meloni said it in one sentence. If you choose to live in a foreign country, accept its laws, its culture, and its traditions.
To one half of the comment section, that is just basic respect. The other half asks who decides what counts as "tradition" in a country with thousands of dialects, regional cuisines, and migrant histories.
Both sides feel they are defending something real. That's why this short line keeps spreading.
