Day 14 of highlighting our deserving TOBY Awards nominees! We’re continuing the spotlight with Martinique “Mardi” Keys, nominated for Assistant Manager of the Year.

Mardi has become an essential part of The North End team, bringing energy, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to prospects and residents across the community’s five buildings. In 2025, she stepped into an even greater leadership role after being promoted to Assistant Community Manager, helping guide the property through a significant period of transition.

During that time, Mardi played a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, helping onboard a new Community Manager, and serving as a trusted resource for her team. At the same time, she continued to play an important role in leasing, demonstrating her ability to balance expanded leadership responsibilities while continuing to support the community’s leasing efforts.

Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, Mardi brings creativity and enthusiasm to the resident experience, from supporting community events to finding new ways to make the leasing and move-in experience feel special. Day 13 of highlighting our deserving TOBY Awards nominees! Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Luiz Bonilla, nominated for Leasing Consultant of the Year.

Luiz’s Mandel Group story started before he even became an associate. After discovering Mandel Group, he made the bold decision to move to Milwaukee with the goal of building a career with the company. Since joining Crescent and Echelon Apartments in 2024, he has continued to bring that same determination, initiative, and work ethic to everything he does.

Supporting two communities, Luiz has quickly become a dependable and valued member of both teams. While leasing is his primary role, he consistently steps in wherever needed, from supporting onsite operations to helping the maintenance team and his fellow associates. His team-first approach and willingness to take on whatever challenge comes his way have made a meaningful impact on his communities.

That commitment was especially evident following a major storm last summer that caused significant issues with Echelon’s fire panel systems. Luiz remained onsite for hours to assist the team and contractors and even volunteered for overnight fire watch duties to help ensure residents remained safe. It was a moment that demonstrated the care, accountability, and dedication he brings to his role every day.

Happy Monday! It's day 12 of highlighting our deserving TOBY Awards nominees! Today we’re proud to recognize Lexie Lagunero for her nomination for On-Site Manager of the Year (Under 150 Units).

Since joining Mandel Group in 2022 as a Leasing Professional, Lexie has continued to grow through hard work, initiative, and a commitment to learning. After participating in Mandel Group’s inaugural Leasing to Leadership Program, she advanced into leadership as an Assistant Community Manager at Crescent and Echelon, before stepping into the Community Manager role at BridgeWalk Apartments in 2025.

When Lexie took on her manager role at BridgeWalk, she embraced the opportunity to lead a new community, team, and resident base. Through thoughtful communication, resident engagement, and a collaborative leadership style, she has helped create a welcoming and connected community for residents and a supportive environment for her team.

Her leadership and dedication were also recognized earlier this year when she received Mandel Group’s “Assistant Manager of the Year” award at our annual Summit, honoring her outstanding contributions while balancing responsibilities across Crescent, Echelon, and BridgeWalk simultaneously.

Jared’s Mandel Group journey began in 2018 as a Leasing Consultant at East Pointe Commons, and over the past eight years, he has steadily grown through multiple leadership roles, ultimately becoming Community Manager of the 188-unit community. Under his leadership, East Pointe consistently ranked among the top 1% nationally for Online Reputation Assessment (ORA) scores, including once again in 2025. His focus on resident relationships, communication, and service helped the community maintain that distinction throughout his tenure.

At the end of 2025, Jared took the next step in his career, transitioning to Senior Community Manager at The North End, Mandel’s 649-unit flagship community in the heart of Milwaukee.
