In 2022, I decided to quit my 9-5 because what do you mean I don't know how to cook and my little sister is growing up in the blink of an eye?
For the first week I was so worried. The first day I cried… mind you… over a job that was draining me. I was worried and for what? I’m Tkee. I had a backup plan. I was waitressing three days, 15 hours a week and taking at least 4-5 clients a week (lash tech). The goal was to make $2,000 a month just like my 9-5 provided. I cast my worries onto God! I trusted in God! It was too much to bear, I HAD TO.
The first two weeks maybe it wasn’t looking a lot like $500 a week but it was there. A couple weeks went by and I was making that! When I made $300 off lashing, I’d make $200 waitressing and vice versa! A total of $500 or more every week! All I had to do was stop worrying and give it to God. To someone that actually wanted it. I saw the work of God in my life.
I say all this to say, the Bible says to practice your faith!
