Located on the historic Pfister & Vogel Leather Company site, River Place Lofts seamlessly blends industrial heritage with contemporary living. Check out Power House's Old Neighbor 🧐

Before River Place Lofts & long after the tannery days, this site was an industrial park. In 1985, history was made again when Sprecher Brewery opened Wisconsin’s first microbrewery in the west wing of the Power House.

Housed in what was once the tannery’s chemical building, it became the birthplace of Milwaukee’s beloved brewery tour tradition. 🍻

However, in 1993, a canal retainer wall collapsed into the Menomonee River due to tugboats pushing cement barges, forcing the brewery to relocate, marking the end of an era and the start of a new chapter for the site...
