We stand with community during this time.

The recent actions of federal enforcement in our city are tearing families and neighborhoods apart, escalating fear and mistrust instead of safety, and have now reached a troubling new level with the arrest of Minnesota journalist Georgia Fort while she was reporting on community dissent. Raising serious concerns about press freedom, civil liberties, and the well-being of the very communities these policies are meant to protect. We are grateful for her release, but what is happening to our communities is unacceptable, and it must stop.
