Notice to All Home🏡 Buyers:
Effective 📅August 17th, Realtors will not be able to show you a home unless you have signed an agreement with them. This change means that a Realtor cannot unlock a door for you without a signed agreement, which is mandatory for all individuals with a Realtor designation. While this process is typically seamless, starting August 17th, it will be a strict requirement.
The standard form for this agreement is a Buyer's Representation Agreement. A Buyer's Representation Agreement outlines the contract between you and the Realtor, detailing the roles, duties, and responsibilities owed to you by your agent.
Selecting the right agent to help you buy a home is crucial, and it should not be a decision forced upon you. Fortunately, the agreement's duration is flexible, and you can request an expiration period that suits your needs, such as a day, a week, or a month.
Please be understanding and courteous to your local Realtors as they request you to sign an agreement before showing you a home. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
