Historic Homes of Minnesota Stories and Photos about Historic Homes and Buildings in Minnesota, some are also For Sale. Jennifer

I'm a blogger, photographer, real estate agent/broker, and lover of old historic homes and buildings. So I combined them all into one and created a site that shows the beauty of historic homes in Minnesota. Traveling Minnesota to sell real estate, I constantly see amazing architecture, photograph it, and then write about it on my blog. Selling old homes is my specialty! - Jennifer Kirby, Kirby Fine Homes

Love when old homes pretty much stay the same style over the hundred years or so since built. This is the Michael Murray House in St. Paul (Irvine Park) circa 1887.

I always love driving by this Eastlake styled Victorian in Faribault, circa 1893.

The number one item an old home has to have in order for me to buy it is a front porch. The bigger the better, and if it wraps around too, then I'm in love. Porch swing bonus. ❤️

The Short Story

I'm a blogger, photographer, real estate agent/broker, preservationist and lover of old historic homes and buildings. Minnesota is a treasure trove of history, which is one of the reason I fell in love with the state when I moved here in 2005. Traveling Minnesota to sell real estate, I constantly see amazing architecture, photograph it, and then write about it on my blog. I also include on this site Preservation news, walking tours, highlights, etc.

Selling old homes is my specialty! Do you know someone looking to sell or buy an old home in Minneapolis, St. Paul, the Metro area, or Greater Minnesota? It doesn’t matter the size or price range of your home, I represent them all! My goal is to connect historic home lovers and those that see the beauty in the details which makes these homes special. - Jennifer Kirby, Kirby Fine Homes
