Consider this your warning: Twin Cities locals take these personally. ⚠️
Calling it Duck Duck Goose. Picking the wrong Juicy Lucy. Mixing up Minneapolis and St. Paul in front of someone from St. Paul. Saying “this is the year” before October.

None of it is written down anywhere. Everyone just knows. And I already know I missed at least one.

What does a good real estate agent actually do for you in Minneapolis?

Most of it, you never see.

Knowing when a small issue is about to become an expensive one. Making the call today instead of waiting until tomorrow. Choosing to protect you over closing the deal faster.
I once spent 7 hours back and forth on the phone negotiating a $500 difference. Nobody saw that. They just saw the closing photos.

That’s the job — not the day everyone smiles for the camera, but everything that happens so that day goes the way it’s supposed to.

This is why I do what I do.

Today at the closing table, my 84-year-old client got quiet for a second — then told me he was sad to be “losing me” now that the sale of his Twin Cities home of 50 years was wrapping up.

Then he asked if he could get my number from his daughter. If he could still call me. If I’d come visit him in assisted living.
This is the part of real estate nobody puts in the listing photos. It’s not just contracts and closing dates — it’s showing up for people through one of the biggest transitions of their lives, and sometimes staying in their corner long after the sale is done.

Will I bring this man dinner and go visit? 100%.
