There are various issues that can arise when attempting to record a document in the Clerk's office. Rejections are not uncommon, especially with certain types of commercial documents that are not as frequently encountered as those used in residential transactions.

True or False: If one employee in a Clerk's office accepts your document for recording, it guarantees acceptance of similar documents by every other employee in that office.

Answer: False. Some documents may be "interpreted" differently by different members of the same office, leading to inconsistencies and frustrations. Even if you submit the required changes (after a rejection) to the same employee, they may still find additional issues that result in another rejection. It can be a test of patience.
