🎄❤️ Season’s greetings to all of our friends and family!

Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness continues this year, and our plans to bring kindness to the community are well underway.

Toy drive presents are stacking up, gift cards are ready to surprise shoppers, and a family has been adopted, with their gifts ready to wrap!

This year also brings a few changes.

To bring Sarah’s tradition closer to home, we’ve chosen not to post any updates on social media this time. We will instead be creating new family memories and honoring her spirit in a simpler, more personal way.

We thank each and every one of you who have followed along and supported this tradition. Your kindness has been an inspiration. To those of you who have offered to donate to our efforts this year, please pass this along to whoever may need it.

Even without social media, we can all share a little happiness and kindness with others this season. We hope you’ve been inspired to get out there and spread some smiles, the way Sarah would have done.

🎄Welcome to Day 10 of Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness!🎄

Today we’re stopping by several Little Free Pantries to stock them full with non-perishable food for anyone who may be in need. This was another of Sarah’s favorite ways to make a positive impact on her neighborhood and we’re thrilled to uphold her tradition.

Little Free Pantry is an international grassroots movement that empowers you to combat hunger right in your own neighborhood. These small wooden boxes operate on a “take what you need, give what you can” basis, and contain food, personal care items, and paper items donated by kind folks just like you!

🎄❤️🎄 Merry Christmas to all! 🎄❤️🎄

As we hang up our hats for the year, we reflect back on all the joy and smiles we had the privilege to bring to our community in Sarah’s name.

A heartfelt thank you to everybody who followed along this year, and to those who are spreading some Christmas kindness of your own.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces when Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness returns next year!

🎄Welcome back once more to Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness!

Today is Day 12, and in keeping with Sarah’s tradition for the final day each year, we pulled out all the stops to bring Christmas magic to a special family in need.

To locate our family for this year, we partnered with North side blessings, a nonprofit who provides resources and help to families throughout the year in our community and surrounding areas. Northside Blessings introduced us to a very sweet family living in East Bethel, Minnesota who could use some extra holiday cheer.

Working from the family’s Christmas wish list, we made a special delivery of complete bed sets, warm clothes and shoes, and hygiene products. We also brought a few surprise gifts, including a $1,000 in gift cards to get Christmas dinner and other needed items, Santa gifts for the kids, and delicious holiday treats!

We wish this family a very Merry Christmas, filled with love and special memories. And we hope that by continuing Sarah’s 12 Days tradition, we can inspire you to go out into the world and spread a little kindness of your own this year.

🎄We’re back for Day 11 of Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness!

Today, Sarah’s elves brought some holiday cheer to seniors in assisted living residences!

Santa Brent and his favorite elf Bri enlisted our friend Jason to play guitar, and together we traveled to a few residences where we sang Christmas songs with seniors. We hope the magic of Christmas kindness helped bring many smiles to the faces of the seniors we met today!

Sarah understood that seniors are more likely to experience loneliness during the holiday season, and so she made a point each year to do something special for our elderly friends and neighbors. We hope we can inspire you to reach out and spend some quality holiday time this year with the seniors in your life!

🎄Welcome back to Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness!

Today is Day 10, and Sarah’s elves are bringing kindness to the Minneapolis Fire Department!

We first stopped by The Winkin’ Rooster in Shoreview, where the awesome staff kindly prepared 35 boxed lunches with sandwiches, chips, and cookies. We made sure to brighten their holiday with a special $200 tip!

Then we set off to Fire Station 14 on Lowry Ave. in Minneapolis to deliver the boxed lunches to the firefighters and station staff! We had a great time visiting the station, and they even let us fulfill a lifelong dream and slide down the fireman’s pole!

Sarah loved to celebrate hard-working heroes like firefighters and EMTs each year, and we are thrilled to keep her tradition going!

🎄It’s Day 9 of Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness!

Today, Sarah’s elves have been busy with another random act of kindness: a visit to Cub Foods where we surprised a few everyday families and bought their groceries!

We also gave each family a $100 Cub gift card to help make their next grocery shopping trip a lot more merry, and we hope they enjoy some extra holiday goodies on us this year!

🎄(PART 2 OF 2) It’s Day 8 of Sarah’s 12 Days of Christmas Kindness!

For the second part of today’s plan, Sarah’s elves assembled a care package of K-cup pods, hot cocoa, travel mugs, and the French pastries from La Delicious Bread.

We then made a visit to Regions Hospital Family Birth Center in Saint Paul, where we surprised the hard-working nursing staff with our care package of goodies! We also brought gifts for all the newborn babies to ensure a very Merry Christmas for all!

Sarah made a point to include nurses in each year’s 12 Days plan, and we wanted to honor her memory by continuing her tradition this year.

Today, Sarah’s elves are prescribing a double dose of kindness!

The first part of our plan: a stop at La Delicious Bread in Maplewood, where we picked up a variety of French pastries and left a $300 tip for the staff. We hope their holiday season is extra special this year.

It’s Day 7, and today Sarah’s elves delivered a care package full of gifts, supplies, and tons of gift cards for the ladies and children currently staying with the Sojourner Project, a domestic violence shelter and nonprofit organization based in Hopkins.

Sojourner’s mission is to provide emergency shelter, support, and legal advocacy services to those victimized by domestic violence and other forms of interpersonal violence.
