One of the best parts of what we do is staying connected with the wonderful people we’ve had the privilege to help move into their next chapter. Today we’re celebrating our friend and former Eden Prairie client, Dave, whose transition to senior living in Wayzata has turned into something truly inspiring.
After settling in, Dave discovered the community wood shop - and that’s where the magic started. He began crafting wooden trees to raise money for holiday bonuses for the staff who care so deeply for the residents. Word spread quickly, and soon the whole community wanted a set. Orders poured in, and Dave (with the amazing help of his dear friend Joanne, who kept everything organized) spent many weeks creating these beautiful pieces.
We’re grateful to have a set of Dave’s handcrafted trees in our own home.
Congratulations to Dave and Joanne for pouring so much heart, time and joy into a project that lifted an entire community.
