Joy feels louder lately. Showing up in dancing at protests, funnier signs in the streets, artists like Bad Bunny embracing authenticity, and powerful moments from women at the Olympic Games. It reminds me that Joy isn’t just resistance, it’s a guiding force that brings people together and seeing more of us lean into it has been such a balm for the spirit.

🥰 Huge gratitude to everyone who contributed to our February mutual aid drive - we raised $3000+ and were able to donate car loads of supplies for Twin Cities neighbors in need.

👏 Thank you for helping us celebrate our 2025 recognitions: KW double platinum award and being named a top producer at Live West Realty. The real joy is getting to work with all of you.

🥳We’d love to know how you’re cultivating joy in your life and in your community. Drop your thoughts in the comments.

THANK YOU! This amazing community donated over $3,000 that went directly towards purchasing food / supplies and dropped off donations, filling two (large!) cars. All items benefited DHH Church in South Minneapolis.

What is happening here is an absolute atrocity and we are so grateful that so many people are showing up to support our beautiful community.

We know many people are still looking for ways to get involved! , , and are a great place to start. If you know of other orgs, please comment below!

With love and solidarity,

Implications of the proposed 50 year mortgage 👇

🏡 for buyers: small short term relief with marginally lower monthly payments, for long term cost. However, most folks stay in their homes 5-10 years so the full cost may never be realized.

🪧for sellers: in the short term, more buyers may enter the market temporarily boosting demand. However, equity will be built SLOWLY which may reduce move-up buyers in the future, and limit housing options and mobility in the long run.

💡bottom line: there is both an affordability upside and a wealth building downside. A 50 year mortgage would make it easier to buy in the short term, and may limit options in the future. Understanding the true cost of any loan product is an important part of the process.

What do you think about the idea is a 50 year mortgage?
