Rod Helm Group, Coldwell Banker Realty

Rod Helm Group, Coldwell Banker Realty I am your resource for information to guide you through the purchasing and selling of real estate. Rod brings to the real estate business a broad skill set.

ROD HELM has been representing his clients’ interests in the purchase and sale of real estate since 1991. With a thorough understanding of the complexity of the marketplace and of the real estate transaction, he has successfully guided hundreds of satisfied clients through this important process. Rod firmly believes that his clients’ interests are first and foremost, and values the long term clien

t relationships that this approach affords. Many of his clients have used his services multiple times over the years and have become close friends during the process. The majority of Rod’s business has come from either past clients or from their referrals, speaking to the strength of his services and for the care that he gives each and everyone of them. Over the years Rod has established a team of talented people to address the needs of his clients, ranging from lending and inspection, to getting a room painted yesterday. Working with the team approach, he is able to resolve situations quickly and successfully, keeping his client’s transaction on track. Prior to real estate, he was a design engineer with Honeywell and has a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Rod also owns and manages investment real estate and is a co-owner in Bridge Street Homes, Inc., a boutique development company specializing in classically styled luxury home construction. Rod believes in service to his industry as well. Highlights of his volunteer service include selection as the 2015 Minnesota Realtor of the Year and serving as the 2014 President of the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MNAR), which is a 18,000 member trade association. Some of his other industry leadership roles have included: Director (2014), Board of Directors, National Association of Realtors (NAR), Current Member, NAR’s Professional Standards Committee; Current member NAR’s RPAC Major Investor Committee; Current Chair, MNAR Communications Committee; Past Director, Board of Directors for the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR); Current Director, Board of Directors MNAR and Past Treasurer (MNAR). He also has served over 17 years on MNAR’s Professional Standards committee (including as previous committee Chairperson), which is a 175 person committee that has ethics oversight and arbitration responsibilities for the state of Minnesota. In 2019, Rod has been elected as one of 13 Regional VPs for NAR, which is a 1.2M member trade organization. Rod holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation, the Graduate of Real Institute (GRI) Designation, the Coldwell Banker President’s Elite Designation and is a member CB Burnet’s President Club (top 50 agents). Rod has also been selected as a Super Agent for 14 Consecutive Years (’03 – ’16) by Mpls/St.Paul Magazine. Licensed in MN.
