What a fun afternoon of creativity! We designed and created beautiful pendants out of polymer clay. From the colors and patterns to the individual designs, each pendant was truly one of a kind—and absolutely gorgeous!

We kicked off the first day of the Minnesota State Fair in true Avidor Minnetonka style—with our very own Blue Ribbon Bash!

A great time was had by all as friends and neighbors gathered poolside to enjoy some of our State Fair favorites: corn dogs, pretzels, popcorn and cotton candy. And what’s a celebration without live music? Brad Carlin kept the good vibes going with a fantastic afternoon of music!

It was the perfect way to celebrate the Great Minnesota Get-Together right here at Avidor Minnetonka!

Meet Flat Stanley from Oneida, New York!

We are excited to welcome Flat Stanley to Avidor Minnetonka! Kids from the YMCA in Oneida are learning about the United States, and they sent Flat Stanley to Minnesota to learn about our great state. Our residents have adopted him for the month and are taking him along on their Minnesota adventures!

So far, Flat Stanley has:
• Gone golfing
• Helped our Garden Club
• Watched the sailboats on Lake Minnetonka
• Visited a rooftop patio overlooking downtown Minneapolis

And his adventures aren’t over yet! This weekend, Flat Stanley is heading to Baxter to see the legendary Paul Bunyan!

Be sure to check back and follow along with Flat Stanley’s Minnesota adventures! At the end of his vacation, we’ll send him back to the kids in New York along with photos and fun facts about our wonderful state.

What a wonderful day for an outing! We enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Freehouse before spending the afternoon exploring local art with Ron Ridgeway.

Our first stop was the Tower Tunnel, where Ron designed the logo, concept, and had some of his artwork is on display. From there, we visited the TractorWorks building, where Ron serves as the curator of the art gallery in the lobby. We then headed to the top floor to see even more of Ron’s mixed media artwork, along with the rooftop patio and its spectacular views of downtown Minneapolis.

A delicious lunch, inspiring art, and great company made for a wonderful day!
