Minnesota weather is changing...the temps are cooling, the leaves are starting to turn, and the rainy, chilly days are reminding us that Fall has officially almost arrived.
And honestly? It’s a great time to tour a home.

A rainy, cool Minnesota day lets you experience a home differently. Is it warm and cozy? How does the natural light feel? Are the windows keeping the chill out? How does the yard handle the rain?

☕ Cooler days = cozy home vibes
🌧️ Rain = a chance to see how the property handles wet weather
🍁 Fall = one of the best times to imagine yourself settling in

Because in Minnesota, we don’t just buy a house for the perfect 72 degree day. We buy a home for all four seasons. ☺️

I’m just saying that sounds like a very reasonable way to spend a fall day in Minnetonka. 😉 I have bought my pumpkins and mums here for years and they truly have such a gorgeous selection of heirloom pumpkins — you won’t be disappointed!

Summer is still hanging on here in Minnesota! ☀️

I showed this Tangletown beauty recently, and I couldn’t help but think how different it would feel to see it in the dead of winter, when all of this gorgeous landscaping is covered in snow. ❄️

The front patio was surrounded by mature plantings and perennial gardens, creating such a beautiful arrival and outdoor living space. The backyard continued the thoughtful landscaping. 🌳

It felt especially fitting for this home, being just steps from Tangletown Gardens.

A little reminder that when you’re house hunting in Minnesota, season matters! Seeing a property in the summer can reveal so much about the landscaping and outdoor spaces that you simply can’t appreciate under a a blanket of snow.
