- Lone Lake Community Park & Preserve: Just down the road, this local gem offers nearly two miles of scenic trails. Don't miss the 1.2-mile loop with stunning views of the lake and surrounding woodlands.

- Shady Oak Beach & Park: Perfect for a multi-surface stroll. You can enjoy the lakefront views or hop on the trail that connects Shady Oak over to Lone Lake Park for a longer trek.

- Meadow Neighborhood Park: If you're looking for a peaceful "preserve" feel, Meadow Park features over 100 acres of natural areas and wetlands with trails crisscrossing throughout.
