Not everyone is who they say they are. 👻 Seller impersonation fraud happens when a fraudster poses as the owner of a property and attempts to sell it without the true owner’s knowledge.

Vacant land, investment properties, and properties without a mortgage can be especially attractive targets.

At The Title Team, protecting the integrity of every transaction matters. Our teams stay alert for red flags and take steps to help verify identities throughout the closing process.

This spooky season, remember: some impersonators are a lot scarier than the ones wearing costumes. 🎃

Wire fraud scams are becoming more sophisticated, and fraudulent emails can look surprisingly legitimate. Scammers may use real names, company information and familiar-looking email addresses to gain your trust.
A few important reminders when it comes to your closing:
🔒 Use our secure portal for important documents and funding information.
💵 The Title Team will never ask you to send your money ahead of time.
📧 Be cautious of unexpected instructions, unusual wording, typos or last-minute changes.
📞 Before sending funds, verify. Call your Title Team office directly using a phone number you know and trust. NEVER use contact information provided in a suspicious email.
When your money is involved, an extra phone call is always worth it.
STOP. CALL. VERIFY. 🔐

WOWSA!!! 🤩 The turnout for the 2026 NDSF Parade was absolutely AMAZING!!!

Our two favorite things we overheard while rolling by on our float:
🫧 “Bubbles make me happy!”
🫧 “Bubbles are healthy, we need to catch them all!”

Hearing comments like that makes our hearts so happy and reminds us exactly why we love doing this every year. Seeing so many smiles, laughter, and people of all ages having fun made it all worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on the parade and helped make it such a memorable day. We hope you all have a safe, fun-filled week at the North Dakota State Fair!

Today, someone in our office is clocking out for the very last time. 💛

Twelve years ago, Brigitte joined our team, and selfishly, we feel like that just wasn’t long enough. While we are so sad to see her go, we couldn’t be more excited for her as she begins this new chapter of life.

Enjoy retirement, Brigitte! 🎉

Today you walk out the door no longer an employee of The Title Team, but please remember, you were never just a co-worker. You have been a true friend to all of us, and that will remain true for many years to come.
