Currently, we have three installations with plans for more across our portfolio. Most recently Arcata in Golden Valley, Minnesota was adorned with a four-painting piece. Jordan Dahl, Community Leader at Arcata remarks on their art, "The ArtLifting installation at Arcata Apartments adds a unique, personal touch to our community by bringing in artwork that feels inviting. Our pieces help elevate shared spaces, making them more warm, interesting, and personable for both residents and prospects. Katie Weisgram, Community Leader at The Bosk in Woodbury, Minnesota, took action by reaching out to her county to explore ways to support Centerspace’s ESG initiatives.

In alignment with Centerspace’s focus on Earth Day, Katie discovered the ‘Food Scraps Pickup Program’, an easy and free solution that helps residents reduce household waste by composting and setting scraps aside for pickup. The county also provided helpful resources, including trash bin signage and in-home recycling bins.

Katie’s message this Earth Day: “Reach out to your county and see what resources are available for composting and recycling. Many programs are free, and counties are eager to partner with residents to make a meaningful environmental impact.”
